Mt. Vernon is not only my home, but my hometown: I grew up here.  I am a 1966 graduate of Mt. Vernon High School, and my parents were the original owners of the Riverside Estates home they bought in 1960, which we still own today.  Like my father, I became a pilot, serving in the Air Force after graduating from the Air Force Academy.  I later flew with Eastern Airlines, and in 1980 I moved back to the Mt. Vernon area where my wife, Doris, and I raised our four children.  It is here that I embarked on a second career in real estate, which I have been doing for over 20 years.  I have proudly helped many Mt. Vernon and Ft. Hunt residents buy or sell their home, and I continue to do so today.  It gives me special pleasure when young adults I used to coach as kids, or childhood friends of my children, look me up years later and ask me to help them buy their first home.  The circle of life...
